Our company is looking for a Character Animator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Address required revisions and modify shots as requested;
  • Must be able to create character movements that aid storytelling;
  • Must meet assigned quota expectations with high performance, style and continuity of animation without compromising quality;
  • Must be able to take direction from Animation Supervisor and VFX supervisor and work well in a fast-paced environment;
  • Must be able to block movements in rough animation, refine and polish to completion in final animation.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail required;
  • Extensive knowledge of MAYA and LINUX;
  • Good organization and communication skills;
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Canada;
  • 3 – 5 years of experience at features level animation;
  • A strong working knowledge of the principles of cinematic staging, blocking and camera work;
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Production (Modeling, Rigging, Lighting, Texturing, etc.) required.
