Our company is looking for a Water and Wastewater Engineers to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design wastewater treatment systems using MBR, Activated Sludge and Attached Growth Moving Bed Bio Reactor technologies;
  • Support Business Development activities in securing new projects;
  • Engineering design of water/wastewater treatment plants, as well as a variety of other turnkey industrial process packages;
  • Manage water and wastewater treatment projects;
  • Support and perform bench scale jar testing and pilot system testing;
  • Design water treatment systems using conventional filtration, dissolved air flotation, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration technologies;
  • Collaborate with external project managers, engineers and contractors in implementation of water and wastewater treatment projects; and;
  • Liaise with external engineers and contractors in implementation of water and wastewater treatment projects;
  • Preparation of technical reports;
  • Site inspections and commissioning;
  • Complete technical calculations;
  • Support in the delivery of infrastructure to customers mostly within the municipal/industrial water, and wastewater sectors;
  • Work successfully within a team environment and communicate effectively with other project team members and customers;
  • Prepare technical specifications and detailed designs;
  • Design water treatment systems using conventional filtration, dissolved air flotation, ultra-filtration and nano-filtration technologies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment process design;
  • Diploma from a Technical Institutions with relevant experience may be considered; and;
  • Registration as a professional engineer (P.Eng.) in BC, or eligibility for registration is required;
  • Degree in environmental or civil engineering;
  • Strong communication skills.
