Senior Civil Engineering Technologist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with contractor, clients/owners and affected stakeholders, as needed; and;
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved;
- Supervise and/or provide training and mentorship to more junior technical staff;
- Identify issues and facilitate corrective measures, think independently;
- Coordinate the preparation of documents required for regulatory approvals, prepare construction cost estimates and tender documents/contracts.
Requirements:
- Experience with administering construction contracts is preferred, but a willingness to learn construction contract administration is required;
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D Software is essential, and knowledge and use of InfraWorks is desirable;
- Ability to work within a busy and close-knit team environment;
- Ability to understand and come quickly up to speed on local development bylaws and regulations;
- Registration as an A.Sc.T. or other technical accreditation is an asset;
- Excellent attention to detail.
