Product Developer 2 Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Product Developer 2 to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- You support the onboarding and training of new Development Team Assistant hires;
- You contribute to the creation and evolution of construction standards in conjunction with the QA team;
- You support Purchasing and/or Quality in the training of new factory resources and ensure that Arc’teryx brand standards are met;
- You support Senior Product Developers with special projects as needed;
- You communicate opportunities for process improvement with a lean forward attitude to drive evolution within our Idea-to-Consumer (I2C) process;
- You execute the development of product from design intent through to product commercialization on time in full.
Requirements:
- Assets;
- You have an Undergraduate Degree OR equivalent industry training, certification, or related business experience;
- You have a comprehensive understanding of design intent, product aesthetics, construction, production and fit;
- Fluent in a second language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese);
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions;
- You demonstrate initiative, agility and commitment;
- You thrive in a fast paced, diverse, ever evolving and values led environment;
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it;
- You seek to execute the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitmentto do right;
- You have a proven mentorship ability;

- You have 5+ years’ experience in product development (developing product/process) with a focus on technical, innovative apparel and equipment;
- You have experience in product costing and negotiation skills;
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration;
- You are detailed and accuracy oriented with strong organizational skills.
