Concrete Finisher Cambium Site Contracting Inc. Work setting Rural area Urban area Commercial Sidewalks and curbs Various Locations Responsibilities: Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement Operate power vibrators to compact concrete Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures Estimate costs and materials Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Experience and specialization Type of materials Light weight concrete Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Driver's validity licence check Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Own vehicle Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Bending, crouching, kneeling Attention to detail Sound discrimination Standing for extended periods Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Safety glasses/goggles Personal suitability Accurate Client focus Excellent oral communication Flexibility Team player Dependability Benefits Other benefits On-site amenities Parking available Until: 2026-05-21
