Senior Scientist in mRNA Research Role

Join the forefront of mRNA research at Darbix Biotech, Inc. in Montreal as a Senior Scientist. Focus on transformative therapeutics through your expertise in molecular biology and lipid nanoparticle technology. Darbix is in search of a talented Senior Scientist with a strong background in mRNA molecular biology and lab management. You will lead a team in project development phases that emphasize purification and testing of modified mRNA. Additionally, conducting in vivo studies will be crucial for validating applications, while maintaining detailed lab records. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor laboratory team for project success
- Develop and optimize mRNA purification workflows
- Enhance lipid nanoparticle formulation and testing methodologies
- Conduct in vivo studies for therapeutic validation
- Keep accurate electronic lab records
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry or relevant area
- Minimum 7 years of experience in RNA laboratory settings
- Strong knowledge of lipid biochemistry
- Proven expertise in chromatography and electrophoresis
- Fluent in French and English with strong communication skills
