Senior Political Risk Analyst Needed

Mercor

Drive impactful political analysis with our team as a Senior Political Risk Analyst. Engage in forecasting, polling analysis, and strategic assessments within a data-driven environment. We seek a seasoned professional with a strong background in political report authorship and risk evaluation. You will produce rigorous point-in-time political reports and assess polling probabilities. Utilizing over 8 years of relevant experience, you will analyze the impact of political events on markets and validate model-generated forecasts. Key Responsibilities:

Author political reports based on predetermined evidence cutoff
Document judgments on polling and market odds
Explain causal mechanisms behind political market impacts
Review and grade model-generated analyses for accuracy

Requirements:

8+ years in political risk and forecasting expertise
Strong polling literacy and analytical skills
Proven live judgment capabilities, not retrospective analysis
Experience with major political forecasting organizations
Background from senior analytics teams or decision desks
