Financial System Applications Developer

• The Financial System Applications Developer will be working closely with global business stakeholders and technical staff to design and implement new features, enhancements, and changes to our world-class, global insurance accounting system.

We will count on you to:

• Analyzing and modifying logic in existing applications to fix errors, improve performance and upgrade interfaces

• Coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining Web and/or Desktop software applications

• Translating business requirements into product designs and technical specifications

• Writing user help and support documentation

• Clearly and regularly communicating on projects with management and colleagues

• Recommending improvements to existing programs as necessary

What you need to have:

• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics / Computer Science or a similar technical discipline

• 3+ years' experience working in the Financial or Insurance Industry

• 3+ of Full Stack development experience using ASP.Net and ExtJs (Angular/ReactJs)

• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with Relational Database Systems (Server SQL)

• Comfortable with vanilla JavaScript

• Familiar with the Model-View-ViewModel and Model-View-Controller patterns.

• Good DOM knowledge and familiar with CSS

• Familiarity with Software Development Methodologies

• Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle

• Proven proficiency using VB.NET and/or C#

• A self-starter with good written and oral communications skills capable of working both independently and with a global team
