Targray, headquartered in Kirkland, Quebec, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to focus on Renewable Natural Gas, biofuels, and environmental credits. This position engages in drafting and negotiating sizable commercial contracts, optimizing frameworks for new and evolving market sectors. You will oversee a small legal team while supporting cross-departmental objectives with practical legal guidance in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate high-value energy and environmental agreements
• Collaborate closely with risk and business development teams
• Develop scalable contracting frameworks and templates
• Advise on regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions
• Lead innovative transaction strategies in renewable markets
Requirements:
• Law degree from an accredited institution in Quebec
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience
• Expertise in energy and environmental law
• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills in English
• Capability to work hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote
