Position: Journeyman & Apprentice Pipefitters - Turnaround
We are currently hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters (employees & DSPs) for a turnaround project.
Project Details:
- Start Date: early March, 2026
Qualifications & Education:
- Journeyman Certificate or active Apprenticeship in Pipefitting
- Hydro Testing experience is an asset
- Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space and Fall Protection
- Preferred certifications: Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and First Aid.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing
Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret Isometric Drawings
- Expertise in piping systems, including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing, and bending
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in complex decision-making
- Effective communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ensure all work meets Canoco’s safety protocols and client-specific requirements
- Take initiative in contributing to training and mentorship opportunities within the Pipefitter role
