Job Summary:
Van-Kam Freightways is currently seeking a Red Seal certified Truck Mechanic to join our team. The shift time for this position is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

With 8 terminal locations across British Columbia, we fulfill shipments to communities within 1-3 days throughout BC and Alberta. Between our own resources and our partner network, our coverage extends beyond Western Canada into the U.S. and Eastern Canada

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair truck components,
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks.
- Repair or replace damaged truck parts and components.
- Keep accurate records of all inspections, repairs and maintenance performed on each truck.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve complex truck issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on trucks
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A strong customer service attitude.
Training and Experience
- Red Seal Certification required.
