Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Provide care and supervision for the children

·         Bathe, dress, change diapers and feed the children

·         Prepare children’s meals as requested and agreed by the parents

·         Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents

·         Instruct children in personal hygiene

·         Provide a caring, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment

·         Tend to emotional well-being of children and support social development

·         Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings

·         Take the children to and from daycare and appointments

·         Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children if requested

Requirements:

·         1 to 7 months of experience

·         Completion of secondary school

·         Must be reliable and able to care for children with kindness and patience

·         Demonstrate good judgement and organizational skills

·         Excellent interpersonal skills

·         Be available to work early morning, morning, day and evening

Work conditions:

·         Physically demanding

·         Repetitive tasks
