At RONA, you do more than produce quotes: you hold a pivotal, highly specialized role within your district. You turn plans into real business opportunities for your colleagues by delivering estimates that are accurate, realistic, and immediately actionable in-store.
Beyond the technical aspect, you play a key advisory role by bringing clarity to customers’ budget considerations and acting as a trusted reference for your colleagues, leveraging your deep expertise and strong command of the field.
Your role:Translate architectural and structural plans into accurate, detailed estimatesProduce strategic quotes that increase win rates on key projectsDevelop technical solutions, including engineered wood layouts (beams, joists)Recommend optimized, code-compliant alternativesAct as a technical reference for store sales teams and PRO customersCollaborate with key stakeholders (clients, engineers, architects)Manage and prioritize a high volume of high-impact requestsDrive conversion and contribute directly to PRO sales growth
What we're looking for:Advanced ability to read and interpret construction plansProven expertise in estimating within construction environmentsStrong technical judgment and solution-oriented mindsetDeep knowledge of building materials and building codesPrecision, rigor, and ability to perform under pressureExperience with wood-frame construction and engineered wood (strong asset)
