Project Manager- Infrastructure

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager- Infrastructure based in Canada. This is a client-facing technology project management role with end-to-end ownership of complex infrastructure and technology initiatives. You will act as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes, client relationships, scope, timelines, risks, and financial performance. The portfolio may include infrastructure upgrades, technology implementations, client onboarding, acquisitions, integrations, and ServiceNow development. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, including distributed and offshore or nearshore delivery resources, to ensure projects remain aligned and on track. The role combines strategic leadership, commercial management, governance, and hands-on delivery oversight in a fast-paced professional services environment. Success requires the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, manage executive stakeholders, and make confident decisions around priorities and trade-offs. This is a fully remote opportunity available to candidates based in Ontario or Alberta. Accountabilities - Serve as the primary client contact and relationship owner, providing a consistent point of communication throughout the project lifecycle. - Lead client meetings, workshops, steering committees, governance forums, and executive-level discussions. - Manage expectations around project scope, timelines, risks, deliverables, dependencies, and commitments. - Communicate project status, risks, issues, delays, and change requests proactively and clearly. - Own executive escalations and drive timely, transparent resolution of critical delivery issues. - Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, milestones, and delivery priorities in alignment with client and organizational goals. - Maintain the master project plan and oversee milestone commitments, sequencing, dependencies, and delivery trade-offs.

- Manage formal change control processes, including scope adjustments and change-order negotiations. - Review and approve project deliverables before they are submitted to clients. - Own client-facing status reporting, delivery metrics, forecasts, and risk and issue documentation. - Determine and implement mitigation strategies for project risks and issues while ensuring adherence to governance and PMO standards. - Own project budgets, forecasts, invoicing inputs, commercial performance, and overall financial health. - Ensure project delivery remains compliant with contractual commitments and agreed commercial terms. - Coordinate distributed, offshore, and nearshore delivery teams while maintaining effective handoffs across time zones. Requirements - 5+ years of technical project delivery experience with direct client-facing responsibility. - Demonstrated experience leading complex technology projects in fast-paced and dynamic environments. - Experience delivering technology services such as Microsoft enterprise infrastructure, including Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint. - Experience with document management platforms such as iManage or NetDocuments, virtualization platforms such as VMware or Nutanix, and enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. - Familiarity with security operations and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 and ISO audits. - Experience with data center migrations, circuit installations, enterprise and solution integration, or technology-related merger and acquisition integration. - Strong project planning, governance, risk management, financial management, forecasting, and change-order negotiation capabilities. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional and distributed teams, including offshore and nearshore delivery organizations.
