Become a key player in shaping next-generation defence technology as a Sensor Fusion Engineer at Dominion Dynamics in Ottawa. This pivotal role focuses on designing sensor-fusion models and enhancing situational awareness through advanced ML techniques. As a full-time engineer reporting to the CTO, you'll leverage your expertise in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. You will design and validate sensor-fusion systems and employ real-time inference suitable for edge computing. Collaborating with embedded systems teams, you will ensure model functionality in operational environments while supporting field trials for constant improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and validate sensor-fusion models using Python and frameworks
• Implement real-time optimization for edge compute
• Combine Computer Vision with classical estimation techniques
• Build data ingestion and preprocessing tools for sensor streams
• Document algorithms and performance baselines for collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience with ML models and sensor-fusion
• Strong Python proficiency, with PyTorch/TensorFlow experience
• CV expertise in techniques like Visual Odometry and SLAM
• Eligibility for Canadian security clearance preferred
