Critical Care Internist at ERH

Eagle Ridge Hospital is hiring a critical care internist to support its High Acuity Unit. This role combines patient care, teaching responsibilities, and quality improvement initiatives. In this Department of Medicine position, you'll engage in comprehensive patient management by conducting consults, rounding on patients, and staffing the IM Rapid Access Clinic. You will work with a team of two established internists and collaborate with the hospitalist service on overall patient care. The skill set required includes critical care and cardiology experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care in the Monitored Care Unit
• Round on inpatients and perform consults daily
• Cover telemetry patients effectively as needed
• Staff the IM Rapid Access Clinic with support
• Contribute to quality improvement programs

Requirements:

• Internal medicine and critical-care experience
• Proficiency with telemetry patient management
• Strong interpersonal skills for teaching and collaboration
