Project Management Director Power Systems

Lead complex power systems projects for Socomec North America, applying electrical engineering expertise, disciplined planning, and strong people leadership.As Project Management Director, you will govern product development and operational initiatives across Socomec PCO North America. You will align schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables with approved baselines and business priorities. The role coordinates engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and external vendors through a unified governance framework.Key Responsibilities:
Define governance boundaries for project scope, schedules, and budgetsDevelop plans covering objectives, timelines, resources, and milestonesLead multidisciplinary teams and communicate project expectationsMaintain risk registers and document mitigation plansProvide portfolio visibility, updates, and reports to stakeholdersRequirements:
Eight to ten years managing projects involving high-power UPS systemsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related fieldStrong electrical engineering background emphasizing power systemsDemonstrated delivery of complex engineering projects within budgetPMP certification is highly desirableBring power systems knowledge, project governance, risk management, and leadership experience to Socomec North America’s engineering portfolio.
