Job Responsibility:

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Stores Attendant III to fill a Casual position at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. Reporting to the Manager, Site Administrator or designate, the Stores Attendant utilizes computerized systems for shipping and receiving goods, filling orders, transporting supplies and materials in a single or multi-site operation, performing and verifying inventory levels and maintaining all related documentation and records. Promote public safety when goods are being handled, offered for transport or transported, applying appropriate safety protocols. Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER and Maternity. Services include:

• Obstetrics
• Gynecology

Additional services such as Diabetes Education, Healthy Heart and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and other visiting specialists. Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus one (1) year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:

• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Holds a valid B.C. drivers' license.
