Floor Supervisor - Taber

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Floor Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the dining area and ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. Your leadership and attention to detail will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality service standards.

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and have an exceptional dining experience.
• Floor Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of servers and support staff to maintain efficient operations.
• Table Assignments: Assign and manage table seating to optimize guest flow and server workload.
• Order Accuracy: Ensure orders are accurately taken and delivered to guests.
• Service Standards: Monitor staff to ensure they follow service standards, including presentation, timing, and professionalism.
• Guest Satisfaction: Address and resolve guest concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
• Training and Development: Train and mentor staff, fostering their growth in service and hospitality.
• Scheduling: Assist in creating staff schedules and managing labor costs.
• Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and managing inventory, including tableware and supplies.
• Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed in the dining area.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff and management.
• Opening and Closing Procedures: Assist in the opening and closing of the restaurant, including cash handling.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Restaurant Floor Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented restaurant environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software is a plus.
• Authorized to work in Canada

Salary : $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, day, evening, weekends
