Lead Front End Software Developer

Lead front end software development at Sunwing Vacations Group through design, coding standards, and collaborative technical leadership. This role offers hybrid work opportunities.As Lead Developer IV, Front End, you will develop, design, and deliver quality software supporting business objectives. You will guide teams, analyze functional and technical requirements, and contribute to major initiatives. The position emphasizes team facilitation alongside hands-on software expertise.Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement code meeting high team standardsAnalyze requirements and map them to codingDrive technical designs, prototypes, diagrams, and researchGuide API design and microservices architecture workLead code reviews, Scrum activities, and knowledge sharingRequirements:
Minimum three years in travel, ecommerce, or commercial operationsStrong problem-solving ability within familiar technical areasAbility to quickly grasp unfamiliar technical conceptsExperience driving impactful outputs with senior IT leadersFlexible schedule supporting evenings and weekendsApply front end development, software design, and technical leadership skills while supporting Sunwing’s collaborative technology teams.
