Municipal Finance Operations Manager

Apply financial controls, budget leadership, and operational expertise with the City of Toronto’s Customer Experience Division at Metro Hall.As Manager, Finance & Business Services, you will lead divisional finance and administration in a high-profile customer service environment. Responsibilities include operating and capital budget analysis, variance reporting, procurement, contracts, service level agreements, and risk management. You will advise senior leadership while supporting organizational change and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer operating and capital budgetsIdentify variances and recommend corrective strategiesMeasure financial targets and service performance indicatorsManage vendor negotiations, contracts, and service level agreementsProvide recommendations on purchasing and business support mattersRequirements:
Finance, accounting, business administration education or equivalent experienceExtensive budget development, forecasting, reporting, and financial controls experienceExperience managing contracts, procurement, reporting, and riskAbility to use SAP or similar enterprise financial systemsAbility to present recommendations to executives, committees, or governing bodiesUse municipal finance, performance reporting, and contract administration expertise to strengthen City of Toronto divisional operations.
