Major Gifts Development Officer, College of Law

Lead funding initiatives as a Development Officer for the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. Leverage your skills to diversify revenue through strategic donor relationships. This role entails significant external engagement, working closely with the Dean and University Relations. Your responsibilities will center on identifying and managing a portfolio of donors capable of making meaningful gifts. You will implement strategies to enhance philanthropic support, requiring both independence and collaboration. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a portfolio of prospective donors
• Engage and solicit donors for major gift contributions
• Build strong relationships with college stakeholders
• Contribute to strategic fundraising planning
• Ensure accurate donor recordkeeping and reporting

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree and fundraising experience
• 3-5 years of relevant fundraising experience
• Familiarity with CRA guidelines and ethical standards
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
