Senior Post Producer

We are looking for a talented Senior Post-Production Producer to join our Zulubot team. Our ideal candidate will have agency and/or studio post-production experience and be highly organized with a brain for problem solving. You will be working with an internal team of 10-12 (offline, motion graphics, colour, online, audio, and post producers) and will own your projects from ingest to delivery. 

  Key Responsibilities Include:

• You will have ownership and oversee end-to end post-production jobs
• Managing multiple complex projects
• Working closely with the Executive Producer and the Director of Operations on estimating, assessing feasibility and identifying innovative approaches to creative problems
• Oversee financial aspects of the project, including budget, risk management, invoices, reconciliation and providing detailed reporting
• Demonstrate strong problem solving abilities in identifying challenges and coming up with innovative solutions
• Mentoring the post-production team and providing support in developing skills 
• Manage internal and external resources, optimizing workflow and identifying the best talent for the job
• Produce/ manage the day to day in offline editing, colour grading, online/ VFX, motion graphics and audio
• Provide expertise in post-production workflows, techniques, technologies, and software
• Alongside our Media Manager, you will ensure a strong quality control of our products and final delivery

Qualifications and Experience:  

• 5+ year(s) of proven experience in a post-production environment within an agency and/or studio setting
• A solid understanding of all roles and functions in the post-production pipeline (offline editing, online / VFX / colour / audio processes)
• Strong working knowledge of post-production techniques and technologies. As well as relevant software (Adobe creative cloud, Davinci Resolve, Flame)
• Excellent leadership and mentorship abilities
• Must be diligent, resourceful, meticulous and able to thrive under pressure
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail are a must  
• Able to communicate effectively across multiple teams with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to handle multiple changing priorities in a dynamic environment and understand how this impacts departmental schedules
• Proficient computer skills are required, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Post producer with knowledge of colour and online workflows an asset

Compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110 ,000 CAD, depending on experience.
