Join Durham Community Health Centre in Oshawa as a Part-Time Family Physician specializing in Black Health & Wellness. Provide accessible primary health care with an emphasis on health promotion and illness prevention. This permanent part-time role ranges from 21-24.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and includes some evening work. As a Family Physician, you will support clients facing complex physical and mental health challenges, ensuring a comprehensive, client-centered approach. Work collaboratively within an inter-professional team dedicated to health equity for marginalized communities. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver client-centered primary care without judgment
- Conduct health assessments and provide comprehensive treatments
- Manage patient care aligned with health service targets
- Implement telemedicine services through Ontario Telemedicine Network
- Participate in interdisciplinary consultations and team activities
- Medical Degree with Family Medicine training
- Certification with the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
- Minimum two years' experience in primary care
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license
