Corporate Controller (Remote)

The Opportunity: As the Corporate Controller, you will be a key member of our executive team and play a critical role in driving our financial strategy and performance. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead all aspects of financial management, accounting, and reporting for the organization. You will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring the integrity of financial statements, and guiding the company's financial decisions to support our growth and profitability objectives. What you'll do:

• Financial Reporting:
• Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations as well as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles and internal reporting in accordance with accounting policies.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
• Partner closely with FP&A team to support their findings and analyses with data.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential threats to the organization's financial stability.
• Audit and Compliance: Coordinate external audits, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws. Maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing Finance and Accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement through your ability to communicate, empower and develop team members.
• Financial Systems Management and Processes: Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Develop and implement best practices, including assistance with the scoping and implementation of tools, to drive end-to-end efficiency and simplification.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional designation (CA) required.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within publicly listed organizations.
• Previous experience within a publicly listed company environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERPs, experience in selecting and implementing modern cloud-based options preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• M&A experience, including due diligence and integration.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
