Nanny Wanted - Seeking A Part Time Nanny To Provide Childcare For An 7 Year Old Boy And Occasionally His Younger (4.5 Year Old) Brother.

Hello my name is Anja. We are interested in finding a part-time nanny for my son Oscar (age 7 years) and occasionally my son Jack (age 4.5 years). We live in Maple Ridge in the Albion area. The hours of work will be in the afternoons primarily and duties will include some light housework/laundry in addition to picking up Oscar from either school or camp. Our ideal candidate has experience working with children with Autism as Oscar is Autistic. He is verbal and developmentally similar to his peers but can have struggles in transitioning from one activity to another and in regulating his emotions. So the person we are looking for would be able to navigate these occasional challenging situations and help Oscar continue to learn how to manage those tougher moments. He is otherwise very bright and engaging and loves to create and learn about the world around him. Our younger son Jack is attending a daycare full-time currently but will age out in the fall when he starts Kindergarten at which point we will need care for him afterschool as well. We also have a small dog, a friendly well behaved miniature golden doodle named Charlie, who will need to be be taken out sometimes.
