We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Software Developer - Full Stack for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Toronto. In this role, you will take on a premier full-stack software engineering, microservices architecture, and technical leadership capacity, specializing in building responsive user interfaces, scalable back-end APIs, and cloud-native messaging systems.

As a senior full-stack developer, you will bridge the gap between user-centric front-end design, cloud containerization, and distributed database systems. Operating within a hybrid work model in Toronto, you will lead end-to-end application development using React 18, ASP.NET Core (.NET 8+), Azure Container Apps, and Azure Service Bus. This position is tailored for a technical software authority who can mentor junior developers, perform rigorous code reviews, optimize API performance through Azure APIM, and ensure digital solutions conform to enterprise security, quality, and privacy standards.

Develop resilient back-end microservices, RESTful Minimal APIs, and LINQ queries leveraging the .NET 8+ framework.

Architect and manage event-driven messaging producer and consumer workflows using Azure Service Bus SDK and Azure Container Apps/Jobs.

Configure and govern enterprise API gateways, authentication policies, and rate-limiting rules within Azure APIM.

Implement database schemas, query optimizations, and caching mechanisms using SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Redis Cache.

Create, manage, and optimize multi-stage CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release workflows in Azure DevOps.

Perform thorough code reviews, system design walkthroughs, and technical risk assessments to maintain high code quality standards.

Mentor junior software engineers, providing context on design decisions, business logic, and engineering best practices.

Proactively monitor production systems using Azure Application Insights and Log Analytics to ensure high availability and rapid incident resolution.

Author comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, deployment runbooks, and workflow guides.

Core Technical & Full Stack Requirements
Front-End Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience developing responsive web applications using React 18, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Back-End & .NET Mastery: Deep technical expertise in .NET development (.NET 8+), ASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs, LINQ, and Object-Oriented Design (OOD/OOP).

Azure Cloud Services: Direct experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure Container Apps/Jobs, Azure App Services, Key Vault, and Blob Storage.

Messaging & Microservices: Practical experience building microservices and distributed systems utilizing Azure Service Bus, Docker, and RESTful design patterns.

API Management & Databases: Hands-on experience designing and managing APIs via Azure APIM, alongside database development in SQL Server and Redis Cache.

DevOps & Version Control: Proficiency with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline management and Git version control workflows.
