Advance your career as a Registered Veterinary Technician with TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods, specializing in bovine health throughout Southern Alberta. Support veterinarians and farmers while utilizing cutting-edge technology. In this role, you'll assist in all aspects of bovine medicine, including feedlot, cow-calf, and dairy production. As a key member of the team, you will perform essential in-clinic duties, manage prescriptions, and lead field services to enhance herd health. Developing strong relationships with producers and promoting education initiatives will also be vital for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist veterinarians in all bovine medicine aspects
• Record and process data on farms
• Manage prescriptions and perform in-clinic tasks
• Dispense medications and manage inventory
• Implement herd health programs and education initiatives Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Animal Health Technology
• RVT licensure with Alberta Veterinary Medical Association
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for bovine medicine
