The Opportunity
Superior Autobody is seeking a motivated and reliable Shop Helper / Detailer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will assist with daily shop operations, vehicle detailing, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive repair industry.
The Responsibilities
The Shop Helper / Detailer is responsible to:
- Wash, clean, and detail vehicles to a high standard (interior and exterior).
- Move vehicles in and out of the shop or lot as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries or customer shuttling.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service when interacting with customers.
- Dispose of waste materials safely and in accordance with environmental guidelines.
- Perform quality checks to ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery.
- Inspect and document condition of fleet vehicles.
- Support team members and follow directions from the Shop Manager, Office Administrators and Technicians.
The Requirements
Successful candidates will possess:
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in automotive detailing or collision repair environments is an asset but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to all safety and quality standards.
- Represent the company professionally through appearance, attitude, and customer interactions.
