Gentle Persuasive Approaches Instructor

CIMT College is hiring a Gentle Persuasive Approaches Instructor for our Personal Support Worker program. This role emphasizes hands-on training and effective student engagement in a hybrid format. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for imparting essential skills to students pursuing careers as Personal Support Workers. Your experience in the field will guide the instruction of the set curriculum while promoting positive learning outcomes. Ensure student success through fair evaluation and supportive teaching practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum using provided instructor manuals
• Assess student learning through quizzes and assignments
• Offer feedback and improve teaching practices
• Resolve student concerns with professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the classroom

Requirements:

• Registered as RN or RPN with CNO
• Minimum 24 months of work experience in the field OR combination of teaching and field experience
• Relevant degree and teaching qualification
• Competency in MS Office and online teaching platforms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
