Part-Time Infant Nanny Needed (Kingston, ON)

We are a warm and welcoming family in Kingston looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced part-time nanny to care for our baby boy beginning late August 2026. He will be approximately 12–13 weeks old when the position starts. This is a live-out position caring for one infant only. Schedule Guaranteed 12–15 hours per week Weekdays Some flexibility in scheduling Initial commitment of at least four months, with the possibility of extending the position and increasing hours (approximately 24–30 hours/week) beginning in January 2027 when Mom returns to work full time Guaranteed hours will be paid each week regardless of whether care is needed for the full scheduled time Compensation $18–30/hour depending on experience Responsibilities Your primary responsibility will be providing nurturing, responsive care for our infant, including: Feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and supporting healthy sleep routines Age-appropriate play, reading, tummy time, and other activities that promote early development Walks and outings (e.g., parks, library story time, or EarlyON programs) Keeping the baby's play, feeding, and sleeping areas tidy Baby-related laundry and bottle washing Occasional light household tasks or simple meal preparation, as time permits About Us Non-smoking household Home with two friendly cats, so comfort around pets is essential One parent works from home We value a warm, responsive, play-based approach to parenting that encourages curiosity, secure attachment, and healthy development We are hoping for a long-term relationship with our nanny, ideally someone who may be interested in staying with our family as our child grows into toddlerhood Requirements CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification before starting) Up to date on relevant vaccinations (including Tdap, seasonal influenza, and COVID-19), given care for a young infant Experienced caring for young infants Able to provide excellent references Warm, patient, dependable, and attentive If this opportunity sounds like a good fit for you, please feel free to message us.
