Herauf Modular is growing Modular Construction company dedicated to building high-quality homes with a focus on craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork. We are looking for motivated, reliable framers to join our crew.
Position Summary
As a Residential Framer, you will be responsible for constructing wood-frame structures according to plans and building codes. You'll work with an experienced team to complete projects safely,efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Construct floors, walls, roofs, and other wood-frame structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and engineered wood products.
- Install sheathing, trusses, beams, and other structural components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all company safety policies and provincial safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew members.
Qualifications
- Previous framing or carpentry experience preferred (apprentices and experienced framers welcome).
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Reliable transportation to and from facility.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable attendance.
