Night Auditor

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the nightly audit process, providing exceptional front desk service, maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform the nightly audit and reconcile daily financial transactions.
Complete all end-of-day reports and ensure accuracy of hotel records.
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Check guests in and out efficiently.
Handle reservations, guest inquiries, phone calls, and payments.
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
Monitor hotel security and conduct routine property checks as required.
Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel laundry.
Clean and maintain public areas, including the lobby, front desk, guest washrooms, and other common areas.
Vacuum hallways and ensure hotel common areas remain clean and presentable throughout the shift.
Restock front desk and housekeeping supplies as needed.
Communicate important information to the morning shift and management.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform cleaning and laundry duties.
Must be reliable, punctual, and available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
