Senior Underwriter (Commercial Mid-Market)

What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Underwriter? Our Senior Underwriters provide complete solutions for our commercial mid-market businesses. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties. They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly. While they are already experts in their own field, Northbridge is committed to their ongoing growth and development. Working in a collaborative team they provide coaching, mentoring and development for less experienced underwriters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience
• Completed, or pursuing your CIP designation (an asset)
• Strong customer service background
• Team-first mentality
