Apprentice Baker

Job Responsibility:

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for baking. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
• Decorate cakes and pastries to meet customer specifications or create visually appealing displays.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and service during peak hours.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with customers and addressing any inquiries or special requests.
• Help her prepare lunches soup sandwiches.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food handling and preparation within a kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
• Strong baking skills with an emphasis on cake decorating preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor for effective customer service.
• A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes or products is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Flexible with hours early morning or nights or days.

Pay: $19.11-$22.00 per hour
