Full Lifecycle Senior Software Engineer

Join IREN as a Full Lifecycle Senior Software Engineer, where you'll design and operate advanced production systems for AI services using sustainable energy practices. This role is pivotal in creating reliable, high-performance software solutions. As part of IREN, you will manage the entire software lifecycle from backend implementation to Kubernetes deployment. Collaborate across service boundaries and ensure optimal system performance. Expertise in building APIs and distributed systems is essential, contributing to IREN's innovative cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end software systems from design to maintenance
- Deploy services using GitOps workflows like ArgoCD
- Design scalable API interfaces (REST, gRPC)
- Ensure reliable service communication and integration
- Employ CI/CD pipelines for secure deployments
- Minimum 5 years experience in software systems
- Strong backend language proficiency
- Solid understanding of distributed systems principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of observability practices
