Develop and validate cloud datacenter infrastructure for Lenovo’s Cloud Service Provider Group in Morrisville, North Carolina. Apply server platform expertise.This experienced Advisory Engineer, Development – Systems Engineer supports server and rack infrastructure for leading public cloud customers worldwide. You will work across compute, storage, networking, platform validation, manufacturing, quality, compliance, and customer engineering. The position translates requirements into integrated infrastructure solutions while addressing technical issues, improving product quality, and supporting customer deliverables. Lenovo’s CSP organization spans design, manufacturing, testing, service, and worldwide deployment.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and validate compute, storage, and networking infrastructureSupport rack architecture, BOM development, and power analysisReview test plans with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teamsResolve testing issues with vendors and technology partnersDrive corrective actions through technical issue resolutionRequirements:
Eight-plus years in infrastructure, platform validation, or related engineeringHands-on Intel Xeon or AMD EPYC platform experienceUnderstanding of rack configurations, cable mappings, and manageabilityKnowledge of hardware and firmware interactionsExperience supporting cloud, hyperscale, or enterprise infrastructureUse platform validation, rack architecture, and infrastructure engineering skills to support Lenovo’s public cloud customer programs.
