Live-in Caregiving

We are immediately looking for a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Caregiver, who will provide my loved one with a caring and secure environment. This is a full-time position that requires a schedule of work from Monday to Sunday, covering the morning, mid-day, evening, and night shifts. The hours per week will be from 40 to 50. This role entails varied responsibilities, which include providing bathing assistance, offering support with dressing and grooming, and help with toileting. The caregiver will also assist with range of motion exercises, housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping. The caregiver will handle meal planning and preparation, run errands, clean bathrooms, and offer assistance with pet care. Further duties include assisting with walking, escort to appointments, and planning visits, outings, and trips to visit neighbours, friends, and family. There is also a significant amount of care required for Alzheimer’s/Dementia and an element of home supervision. Given the nature of the role, it is essential that the candidate possesses a driver's license as they will be required to use their own car. This is to support with running errands and escorting to appointments, among other duties.
