Senior Ai Claims Automation Engineer
Wagmo Inc.
Build trusted AI claims automation for Wagmo remotely from Canada, using Python and LLM APIs with six hours of Eastern Time overlap.As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own Wagmo’s claims automation system within the Pet Parents squad. You will improve the pipeline that reads veterinary invoices, determines coverage, and pays claims. Your work will make processing cheaper, easier to change, and capable of resolving more claims automatically.Key Responsibilities:
Learn and own Wagmo’s claims automation pipelineRoute work to models while maintaining accuracyRefactor stages for independent testing and rolloutShip automation reducing manual claims reviewImprove coverage decisions using veterinary recordsRequirements:
Production experience shipping LLM-powered featuresExperience designing or refactoring business-critical systemsStrong Python skills;
Django and TypeScript experience preferredAbility to balance model cost and qualityDaily use of coding agents and AI review toolsOwn production AI systems that help Wagmo process pet claims accurately, efficiently, and with greater automation.
