Hi! We are looking for an afterschool nanny for our two kind and friendly kids (7 & 8). The kids' school is in Oaklands and we are just north of UVic - a 10 minute walk from the UVic bus loop . The schedule Mon–Fri, 2:30–5:30 pm (September–June) School pickup at 3:00 pm, care at our home until 5/5:30 pm Extra hours on Pro-D days/holidays, if you’re available If you need 20 hours we can add a date night or other flexible tasks About the kids Curious, outgoing, and fun. Our daughter is level one autistic (and amazing!) and thrives with a caregiver who is kind, relaxed, and flexible. What you’ll do School pickup and drive home (Oaklands → just north of UVic) Play, simple activities, and supportive routines Create a positive, calm vibe and help with sibling dynamics After school snack What we’re looking for Experience with school-age children references Neurodiversity-affirming approach We are device free, so open to lots of reading, crafts, outdoors Confident, active, and creative energy Driver’s license and reliable car, or ability to use our vehicle for pickup We are open to paying $25-$30 an hour depending on experience.
