Lead water distribution operations at Halton Region’s Woodlands Operation Centre in Oakville, using SCADA monitoring and wastewater systems expertise. Protect public health through operational decisions.As Superintendent, Operations & Maintenance, you will direct programs for Halton’s water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The role includes supervising staff, managing emergency response, supporting budgets, and maintaining regulatory compliance. You will also oversee training, asset management input, customer service responses, and system performance monitoring.Key Responsibilities:
Direct water distribution and wastewater collection operating programsMonitor system performance through SCADA and hydraulic modeling dataCoordinate after-hours emergency response for assigned personnelSupport operating, capital, and asset management planningMaintain water quality and regulatory complianceRequirements:
Diploma in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or equivalent approved trainingFive to seven years of progressive supervisory experienceLevel IV Water Distribution and Level II Wastewater Collection credentialsKnowledge of MECP regulations and occupational health and safetyExperience with SCADA, MS Office, SAP, or work order systemsApply water systems leadership, SCADA knowledge, and regulatory expertise as Halton Region’s Operations and Maintenance Superintendent.
