Baker, Specialty Foods Punjab Chat House Restaurant, Sweets and Bakery Location Calgary, AB Salary 36.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week Full time Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Other benefits Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 2 years to less than 3 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Bake shop Restaurant Responsibilities: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Bake mixed dough and batters Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Prepare special orders Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff Draw up production schedules Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards Inspect kitchen and food service areas Operate machinery Organize and maintain inventory Experience and specialization Cuisine specialties East Indian Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Ability to distinguish between colours Attention to detail Fast-paced environment Physically demanding Repetitive Standing for extended periods Tight deadlines Work under pressure Personal suitability Accurate Dependability Judgement Reliability Team player Benefits Other benefits Until: 2026-02-07
