Description
We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk / Administrative Assistant. This person will report to the Executive Director and be responsible for performing the entire accounting function, complete up to monthly financial statements.
Duties:
- Answer telephones
- Meet and greet members and visitors
- Prepare agenda packages for board of directors, committee and annual general meetings
- Communicate with members and guests regarding meetings and events
- Maintain minute books
- Follow-up and take action resulting from meetings and events
- Maintain electronic filing system
Qualifications:
- Accounting training and experience using Simply Accounting
- Excellent secretarial and communication skills
- Experience in set up and co coordinating corporate meetings
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 for Business, Simply Accounting/Sage 50
