Senior Engineer in HVAC & Building Systems

MAT 4Site Engineers is hiring a Senior Engineer in HVAC and Building Systems for a hybrid role in North York, ON. This position involves leading mechanical designs that shape impactful community infrastructures. In this key role, you'll manage project lifecycle from concept to completion, ensuring the design of high-quality mechanical systems. Collaborating with clients and stakeholders while mentoring junior staff, you will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of every project. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design of mechanical systems for various projects
• Manage coordination with clients, contractors, and project teams
• Prepare and analyze energy models for building performance
• Conduct site analyses and design reviews effectively
• Ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and P.Eng. designation
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in mechanical engineering
• Expertise with AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling software
• Strong HVAC and plumbing system design skills
• Ability to travel to project sites with a valid driver’s license
