Senior Electrical Substation Design Engineer
Tetra Tech
Design complex electrical substations with Tetra Tech’s Power team from anywhere in Canada or the United States. Apply senior expertise in medium and high voltage systems.As a Senior Electrical Substation Design Engineer, you will lead technical teams and guide project delivery. Your work will include substation design, electrical distribution, industrial controls, protection systems, and technical documentation. You will coordinate with clients and support proposals, schedules, budgets, and quality objectives.Key Responsibilities:
Assign work and advise teams on technical problemsCoordinate client direction, information, and project status reportsLead technical experts delivering projects within requirementsReview technical documents for accuracy and compliancePrepare proposal writeups and estimates from RFPsRequirements:
University degree in Electrical EngineeringMore than 12 years of substation design experienceProfessional Engineer registration in Canada or the United StatesKnowledge of medium and high voltage distribution and transmissionExperience with protection, control, and metering systemsBring substation design leadership, electrical engineering expertise, and client coordination skills to Tetra Tech’s Power team across North America.
