Fully Remote Engineer for Production Search Systems

Shape the future of search technology as a Fully Remote Engineer specializing in production search systems. Your role will focus on optimizing search systems and enhancing their relevance for users. We are looking for engineers with significant experience in building and evaluating search systems. You'll utilize your skills in agentic search and data infrastructure management to develop cutting-edge solutions. Prepare to share insights and specific challenges faced during a conversational interview that values practical experience over theory. Key Responsibilities:

Manage relevance and evaluation for production search systems
Analyze and enhance retrieval processes based on metrics
Construct and optimize agentic search frameworks
Scale and maintain the underlying data infrastructure
Evaluate and discuss search quality improvements effectively

Requirements:

Proven track record in shipping search production systems
Strength in understanding and implementing LLM technologies
Experience in detailing impact measurements and improvements
Ability to recount real-world systems and trade-offs
Comfortable with engaging in impactful conversational interviews
