Part-Time Receptionist

Applewood Chevrolet Buick GMC is looking for a Part-Time Receptionist to add to their team in Mississauga. Applewood Buick GMC is proud to be a member of The Humberview Group, representing 20 dealerships and 18 automotive brands. 

As the first point of contact for customers, the Receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional dealership experience. From greeting guests with a smile to managing calls and supporting day-to-day administrative operations, you'll help keep our dealership running smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service.

Working closely with every department, the Receptionist confidently directs customers, assist with administrative tasks, and ensure every visitor receives the exceptional experience they're looking for.

Pay: $20 per hour. 

Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00am - 6:00pm; Thursday, 9:00am - 2:00pm; and every other Saturday from 8:30am - 5:00pm.

What You'll Do

• Answer and direct incoming calls, taking messages when required.
• Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
• Coordinate and process customer payments accurately.
• Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support dealership operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area, customer lounge, and beverage station.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service experience required. 
• A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new technology systems.
• Pleasant and engaging phone manner. 
• Team-oriented.
• Dealership experience preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to provide additional coverage for the full-time Receptionist when needed.
