Weever is hiring a
Head of Marketing and Growth
to lead all of marketing, reporting to the CEO. Your first job is to reinvent and adapt our demand generation engine to maximize results by delivering more qualified meetings, more pipeline and more revenue.
You will lead a team of two: a Demand Generation Manager and a Product Marketing Manager. You set the marketing strategy, decide where you and your team spends time and budget, and step in to do the work yourself when speed matters or priorities require it. Our marketing team is small, so you will use AI tools, agencies and contractors to get a lot of good work done quickly.
We want a leader who runs small, fast tests, reads the results honestly, and moves budget to what works within weeks. You will explain your plan and your results clearly to the leadership team and Sales, and you will show progress in numbers.
This role is for you if
You have built or revamped a B2B lead generation engine before, and you can show the pipeline numbers from before and after.
You like to get a test live within weeks, and you stop tests that fail without regret.
You have built or revamped successful Enterprise software marketing strategies
You write and speak clearly. Executives, sellers and your own team all understand your plan the first time they hear it.
You do your best work on a small team. You coach your two direct reports, set clear goals, and build a campaign or a dashboard yourself when the team needs one.
You use AI tools, automation, agencies and contractors to get good work done quickly, so a small team produces the output of a much larger one.
Leaders trust you. You make a clear case, backed by numbers, for the budget, people and support marketing needs to hit its targets.
You work closely with Sales, and you judge marketing by the meetings and revenue it produces for Sales.
About WeeverWeever is a fast-growing software company based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. We build AI-assisted daily management system software for process manufacturers: the food, beverage and consumer goods companies whose teams run sanitation, quality and safety routines every shift.
Frontline teams know things that sensors and monitoring systems cannot record - why a line stopped, why a check failed, what changed during the shift. What you will doLead marketing
Set the marketing strategy and plan and own the marketing budget.
Decide which audiences, channels and offers the team works on first, and explain why to the leadership team.
Manage and coach the Demand Generation Manager and the Product Marketing Manager. Set clear goals for each person and review progress every week.
Manage agencies and contractors, and decide when the team should hire, outsource or do the work in house.
Use AI tools and automation in content, research, campaigns and reporting so the team ships more work, faster, with the same headcount.
Make the case to the CEO and leadership team for the budget, people and support marketing needs to reach its targets.
Revamp the demand generation engine
Find out where the current funnel loses buyers, from first touch to closed deal, and fix the biggest losses first.
Run a steady programme of fast tests across channels, offers, audiences, messages and landing pages. Stop the tests that fail and put more money behind the tests that work.
Own multi-channel demand generation: paid media, account-based marketing (ABM), email nurture, webinars, events and content.
Agree with Sales on what counts as a qualified lead, how leads move to Sales, and how fast Sales follows up.
Help Sales reach the right accounts and buyers, including senior buyers above the plant level.
Direct product marketing
Work with the Product Marketing Manager to set Weever's positioning, messaging and pricing story for each buyer and use case.
Make sure Sales has the case studies, decks, demos and battlecards it needs to win deals.
Plan product launches so that each launch brings in new pipeline and helps existing customers expand.
Own marketing operations and reporting
Own HubSpot: workflows, forms, lead scoring, data quality, dashboards and reporting.
Manage reports on pipeline and revenue from marketing, cost per opportunity, customer acquisition cost (CAC) and funnel conversion rates.
Own the website and its conversion rate and run A/B tests on landing pages and site flows.
Communicate results
Report marketing results to the leadership team every month in plain language: what we tested, what worked, what failed and what we will do next.
Share the marketing plan and results with Sales and the wider company so that everyone knows what marketing is doing and why.
Your first 90 days1.
First 30 days:
Meet the team, Sales and key customers. Review the funnel, HubSpot data, channels and spend, and articulate your view of key go-to-market/lead gen opportunities.

Days 31 to 60:
Present a marketing plan with clear targets and launch the first round of tests.
3.
Days 61 to 90:
Report the first test results, move budget to the tests that worked, and show early gains in qualified meetings for Sales.

Qualified meetings and pipeline that marketing creates for Sales
Revenue from deals that marketing sourced or influenced
Conversion rates at each funnel stage: lead to qualified lead, qualified lead to opportunity, opportunity to closed deal
Cost per opportunity and customer acquisition cost (CAC) by channel
Number of tests run each quarter, and the share of budget moved to channels and offers that work
Website conversion rate
What you bring
8+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS sold to enterprise buyers, with at least 3 years leading a marketing team
A record of growing marketing-sourced pipeline, with numbers to show for it
Hands‑on experience across demand generation, paid media, ABM, marketing operations and product marketing
Daily, hands‑on use of AI tools in marketing work, such as content, research, campaign builds and reporting
A record of winning budget, headcount or other support from leadership by making a clear business case
Strong HubSpot skills, including reporting and attribution
Comfort with data: CAC, funnel conversion, attribution and return on spend
Clear, confident writing and presenting, from a board slide to a Sales team meeting
Experience marketing to manufacturing, operations or industrial buyers is a strong asset
