Global Supply Chain Lifecycle Manager

Lead high-impact supply chain initiatives at Ciena as a Supply Chain Life Cycle Manager. Focus on product lifecycle management, supplier collaboration, and operational excellence in a people-first environment. Ciena seeks a leader with 5-10 years' experience in Operations and Supply Chain Management. You will guide cross-functional teams through product lifecycles while optimizing manufacturing plans for timely fulfillment. Cultivate strong partnerships with contract manufacturers to resolve challenges and ensure successful product delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead operations team through R&D, NPI, and EOL phases
• Drive improvements in yield, cost, and supply assurance
• Establish safety stock strategies to ensure supply continuity
• Coordinate manufacturing plans with supplier readiness
• Monitor supplier performance and communicate insights

Requirements:

• 5-10 years in Operations and Supply Chain Management
• Experience with telecommunication or optical technologies
• Strong understanding of New Product Introduction processes
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; MBA preferred
• PMP certification is a plus
