Graduate Teaching Assistant Communication Education

McGill University

Support Communication in Education students at McGill University through grading, course materials, and discussions. This graduate appointment includes scheduled class attendance.

The Department of Integrated Studies in Education seeks one Teaching Assistant for EDEC 203 001/002. The appointment runs from December 21, 2026, through April 30, 2027, with 60 total hours. Responsibilities include assisting learning, supervising projects, and providing feedback on presentations or coursework.

Key Responsibilities:

Mark and grade student work
Prepare materials for Communication in Education
Assist students' learning throughout the course
Lead course discussions and supervise projects
Attend Wednesday and Friday classes

Requirements:

Enrollment as a McGill University graduate student
Knowledge related to Communication in Education content
Experience with academic writing and providing feedback
Willingness to conference with students and collaborate
Written and oral French, plus English communication

Use academic writing, feedback, and discussion skills to support McGill's Communication in Education course during its graduate appointment.
